Global Top 50 Engineering Machinery List Released
Jun 06, 2023
On June 1st, the International Construction magazine, a well-known information group in the global construction machinery industry, released an authoritative Yellow Table list. The list shows that the TOP50 construction machinery manufacturer's total sales in 2022 were $230.6 billion, which is one of the highest figures in the history of the list. One important reason for the growth is the growth in the performance of American manufacturers. In 2022, American manufacturers accounted for over 26% of global total revenue, an increase of five percentage points compared to 2021. In contrast, the overall ranking of the Chinese legion has slightly declined.
The ranking in the Yellow Table is based on sales calculated in US dollars for the natural year 2022. Data collection is widely sourced from various channels, including financial reports of listed companies, financial statements of companies, and information from qualified third-party institutions.
The top ten companies on the list and their respective proportions are: Caterpillar (16.3%), Komatsu (10.7%), XCMG (5.8%), John Deere (5.4%), Sany (5.2%), Volvo Construction Equipment (4.3%), Liebherr (4.3%), Hitachi Construction Machinery (4.0%), Sandvik (3.4%), and Jiesibo (3.0%).
